Great place for a summer getaway. The owner and staff were extremely helpful, even drove us personally to the train station in the morning. Will be coming back!
We stayed here mainly to go skiing in Les Diablerets which is about 5 minutes away by car. Skiing at this time of the year is excellent. There were no queues for the lifts and the slopes were quiet apart from mainly Swiss skiers taking advantage of the quiet slopes, all of whom were expert skiers which helped spur us on to try to emulate them. The hotel hosts/team were also extremely friendly and very attentive, so all-in-all it was a very enjoyable stay.
Nice, historic hotel situated in the hills outside town. The rooms were clean, the staff was welcoming, and the breakfast was generous. I really enjoyed the pastoral atmosphere and the cows in the surrounding fields. Hope to visit again someday!
This is gem and something of a Time Capsule from the past. Come here if you want to disconnect from the constant buzz of daily life. A truly unique and charming Swiss establishment.
» or… rien
Nunca me senti tão em casa. Cheguei ao meu paraíso.
Be transported to the past in this dream of hotel!
This historic hotel is in the most amazing setting! The owners are very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was fabulous as well!
Swiss Historic Hotel mit viel Ambiente. Toller Blick auf den Sommet des Diablerets (Höchster Gipfel Kanton Vaud) vom Balkon unseres Zimmers. Schöne Terasse. Das Fondue hat uns sehr geschmeckt.
Hotel room description doesn’t match as advertised, roof room is actually an attic room with lot of stuff stored in there, and full of dust, which was an absolute no no for me who suffers horribly from allergies.
We requested a different room, unfortunately the response was extremely rude frim the manager.
The hotel is also a bit off from the main village where all the activities are.
Very sad and horrible experience.
Wow! What a joy to stay at Hotel du Pillon. Friendly and available staff/proprietors, amazing food, comfortable/clean/quiet rooms, all very relaxing and affordable. Amazing views, close to great hiking/footpaths, and close to the town of Les Diablerets. There was nothing I didn’t like. I would heartily recommend to friends and family that they should visit—I will likely return!
Have stayed at Hotel Pillon twice. It is an amazing, beautiful Swiss Historic Hotel in the beautiful town of Pillon/Les Diblerets. Don’t miss the 3000 Glacier Experience while you are in Pillon.
