"Very clean room and wonderful staff from checking in and the casino"

"We picked this hotel specifically for the king size bed and trundle bed combo. There were no sheets or blankets for the trundle bed, and no blankets available at all for the entire time we stayed there. We were told other guests stole the blankets, and they didn't seem to care that a lack of bedding took away the value of the room. At no time during our 5 day stay did they try to provide a blanket, even after calling the corporate office to make them aware of the situation. The breakfast wasn't...

"Beautiful old Victorian home with bits of history included. Close to Wayne State, museums and restaurants. Not far from downtown and sports venues."

"Very nice and cozy hotel. The bar up top was phenomenal and the menu was different. The weather was so cold when we went to visit but staff was so helpful and kept everything warm and clean while we were there. The valets were so kind and quick to grab our vehicle when we left for the day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The location was also a plus."

"My main issue was the toilet barely worked. Called to the front desk and they sent someone who tried plunging for 30 mins or so, the place that I was trying to go get dinner was closing soon so we had to leave, she said something about sending a maintenance guy to use a snake, I don’t know if they ever attempted to do that or not but we had to go if we wanted to eat dinner. "The room was clean, but the bedding didn't seem to be washed, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, but they ran out of eggs before 9:00 AM. The kitchen was clean, but the refrigerator was rusty on the outside, but it worked well. I went there to use the pool, but it has never been open per the staff. I was disappointed about that."
