Our stay at the Sommerro was five stars! From the minute, we walked in and checked in Thomas was extremely helpful and kind. The amenities are out of this world with the pool and the sauna, and the breakfast is superb as it has everything you could ever wish for on the bugfet. I would highly recommend this hotel for a very relaxing stay.

This was our favorite hotel of our two week trip around Norway & Iceland. This art deco hotel is beautifully maintained and decorated. There was an impressive breakfast every morning, a beautiful pool, and the fastest elevators ever! We also loved the location and easy access to tourist sites. We had a wonderful stay!

Absolutely terrific. Centrally located, the Sommero is a wonderful hotel. The people are thoughtful and kind, the facilities first rate and the value is tremendous especially when you consider that their lavish breakfast is included.

A very nice hotel close to the waterfront area and downtown Oslo. The tram stop is right in front of the hotel. Room was very nice. We had a junior suite. Still amd sparkling water dispensers are available on each floor. Dining options are plenty as they have 5 restaurants on site. Breakfast is pretty good as well. My only complaint t is that it was at times difficult to contact guest services.

Lovely hotel with a perfect location in Oslo. Would not stay in their twin rooms on level 6 again. Rather small room with a very petite window (if you can call it a window) giving a rather claustrofobic wibe.

The location, gym breakfast is excellent. The only small issues we had were some service challenges, the lighting system in the room (in the middle of the night if you went to the bathroom the bathroom lights would auto turn on at full capacity no matter the setting you had it and doesn’t turn off so it’s quite jarring) and the elevator system is slow. Only two of the elevators goes to the rooms but all 4 go to the rooftop restaurants so what this means is that with the small elevators you could really be waiting for a long time for there to be room for you.

Great atmosphere. Excellent location! Steps away from the palace and right at the National Theatre train station with direct connection to the airport. So easy! Life music in the sprawling restaurant. Very quiet room. Delicious , elaborate breakfast including a gluten-free selection of bread and cakes. Very friendly reception!
