Very nice family run hotel. Convenient to town but no parking if you have your own. Easy to get a sidecar motorbike if you need one. Arranged a trip to swim with the whale sharks through the hotel for very reasonable price.

place was dirty. entrance was stunk with dog poo . place didnt look like it was maintained at all. waste of money. good location and has potential. sadly, it seemed neglected by owner.

The room rented was the upper corner room that overlooks the sea. The regular fishermen were on the ocean day and night. A rented bike was very helpful for access to the local market, 7/11, a small mall and whale shark diving nearby. The ocean floor is flat and shallow for about 1000 metres out to sea. The pontoon just offshore is not really a pontoon, it’s a fish farm. You can walk on the ocean floor in the evening when the tide goes out and sea little crabs, live shell fish etc. Great sunrises!

Vreemd hotel

We vonden het vooral vreemd hoe alles ging. Kamer zag er oké uit, niks mis mee. Bij aankomst kijk je vanaf de weg op een bouwput, maar daaronder is het. Kamer kan alleen vanuit binnen op slot gedaan worden, dus als je er niet bent is je kamer open. Nadat ze hoorde dat wij onze tour al geboekt hadden, hebben we niemand meer van het hotel gezien of gesproken. Tijdens het uit checken was er niemand te bekennen. Echt heel vreemd!
