Rating: 2 / 5 Stars Pros: The room itself was okay for a basic stay. Cons: - Misleading Parking: The listing advertised free parking, but upon arrival, the host told me to park on the side of the road. There is no dedicated free parking. The host eventually moved his own car so I could park in the driveway, but street parking seems to be the default. - Breakfast Not Provided: I specifically selected and paid for a room option that listed "breakfast included." When I arrived, the host stated there was no breakfast provided. - Rigid Host & Scammy Experience: Right off the bat, the host mentioned that there were no cancellations and that any issues had to be handled through Expedia. There was zero flexibility or effort to resolve the listed amenities that were missing. - Unwanted Solicitations: The host continuously tried to sell me personal items, including his calligraphy work and music products, despite my lack of interest. - Lack of Privacy: The host and his family live in the house and remain inside during the stay. Being confined mostly to the room to avoid awkwardness made the experience feel uncomfortable rather than welcoming.

The room was dusty which lead to coughing and too much noise from the property owner. I couldn't sleep until 1am due to noise from the family of the property owner.

Where do I begin? The host greeted us upon arrival and initially seemed pleasant, but our stay quickly became disappointing. The first issue was the number of people moving around the property. It was unclear who lived there and who were guests. One woman appeared to be returning with groceries as if she lived there, while another couple also seemed to be staying on-site. The atmosphere felt confusing and uncomfortable. Cleanliness was a major concern. When we pulled back the sheets, we found black hairs on the white bedding. Unfortunately, we were on a tight schedule and had few alternatives. The view from our room overlooked an active construction area, and I ended up sleeping on my coat because I was uncomfortable with the bedding. The property also appeared poorly maintained. Paint was peeling from the bathroom ceiling, along with several other deficiencies. Photos have been attached. Breakfast was another disappointment. We were asked whether we preferred breakfast at 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. and chose 9:00 because we needed to leave by 9:30. At 9:00 there was no food prepared and no one present. Around 9:15, a woman arrived carrying groceries and asked whether we were staying for breakfast. At that point, there was no realistic way breakfast could have been ready before we had to leave. We were also uncomfortable with the presence of cameras inside the house, as it was unclear where they were located. Overall, we would not stay here again.

Room was beside the bathroom with people using it during the night waking us up. Owner washed dishes after we went to bed and dropping a pot on the floor waking us up. No towels and face cloth for us. Dresser in bedroom was messy. Room was unfinished. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

My flight was delayed so I cannot come before 5am. Later on I cannot book lyft to reach this house on time after call themvdue to cacelling from the drivers. Moreover, it also have traffice because of the accident in the street. When i came they asked me pay extra 20cad because i was late. After check in i felt like iam a student who rent the room from the host. I came back late so i have to inform them. It really uncomfortable to stay just for one night. Everytime I go outside, One guy always come and ask me the house rule, feel like i was spying. So they shoud put on expedia as it is the guest house instead of the hotel and you have to follow all our rule. Never ever come back, terrible service

J'ai réservé une nuitée pour le 26 avril 2025 mais le propriétaire avait inscrit le 28 avril. Ensuite il nous a alloué une chambre qui n'était pas nettoyé. Les oreilles n'étaient pas changées. La salle de bain était salle aussi. Dans le bol de toilette il y avait des excréments. Donc nous avons partie de là. Après notre activité de soir nous avons retourné chez nous vers 4h du matin. Jamais j'ai vu ça au Canada.
