No lift only narrow stairs. WiFi only available in the reception area at times. No hot water available on three separate occasions. Worst continental breakfast ever had. Constantly asking for breakfast items to be replenished. No safe, fridge or tea or coffee facilities in the room. A certain member of staff extremely rude and abrupt [ others very good ].

Property was convenient for ferry. Rooms were clean and linen fresh. Facilities were dated and could do with a refresh. Relatively quiet at back of hotel despite its prominent position between two roads.

Hotel was close to the port. WiFi didn’t work in one of our rooms. Facilities very basic. Very noisy room overlooking the bar area, with people talking until the early hours. Restaurant food was excellent.

Hotel good ,parking only free for one hour (with hotel permit )which rq updating every hour till 7 pm then free till 9am, then updating every hour, restaurant staff rq training (booked table at 3pm to eat at 8 pm told full ,many French people came in after me and got table.

Best hotel in area - close to ferry terminal, easy parking, good food and service, comfortable rooms, reasonable price. Have stayed in other much more expensive hotels in area and found that their service and food was poor.

A dangerous shower. Controls broken. Clearly damp with plaster peeling off the walls. A window that is broken and cannot be closed so you have to endure the noise of the HGVs heading to the Port. Horrible.

Dreadful service I chose the hotel for its convenience and the fact that twenty years ago I enjoyed a good meal there. How times have changed. The owner was surly and unpleasant. We were not made to feel welcome. The service at the bars was awful and we chose not to use ut after the first twenty-minute wait for someone to ask us what we wanted. The room was big enough but the facilities were primitive. A paper cup in the bathroom and just a bar of soap and a sachet of shampoo allied to the kind of toilet paper we used in the 1960s was not good. There were no coffee-making facilities. The rooms were up a steep and narrow staircase and as the doors all slammed it made for a noisy awakening at 6 am. Not what you want on a holiday.The room was not made up for 36 hours after we arrived. This was my worst hotel experience in the last twenty-five years. There are other hotels which are just as convenient in Outistreham. I would read the reviews for them and then decide.

Lovely hotel
We arrived late but the staff were waiting to welcome us. Breakfast was excellent. The Bar was reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was excellent ideally placed for the ferry port.

The hotel was very close to the ferry, staff were friendly, breakfast was worthwhile - very fresh croissants. Just to say that there are quite a lot of steep stairs if you have a large suitcase but we didnt so not a problem
