"The owners couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. We were the last to check in that day (a good sign, at 4pm!) so got an upgraded room/apartment, although we didn’t really need it as we were just staying for 1 night. Excellent suggestions for supper (which we walked to, 20 mins) & breakfast in the room brochure. A really quiet & safe neighborhood. We would stay again as it fitted the bill perfectly after a 30 hour flight. "

. The only downside that hurt us was the very lack of internet connection... If I had to work while being here the internet was hopeless. Which the staff did say they are having problems with the provider. But being away from another country to stay here we needed wifi. And unfortunately they did not have it. "We spent a night at this farmstay, and I can safely say this was the highlight of our trip. Kit and Sheryl are wonderful hosts, warm and hospitable and making sure our stay is enjoyable. Although Kit and Sheryl were busy preparing for the NZ Agricultural Show, Kit still made the time to take us on his truck to his other alpaca farm where we could feed and interact with his alpacas, and he was also very informative about his alpacas and answered so many of our questions patiently.
