"It was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome."
"Loved it, felt like a real local. Washer was a plus and included detergent! Fast responses and overall a great stay :) 9.8/10 a little bit dusty specifically the top of air conditioner but hey, it’s an older place, it was expected and part of the vibe. Recommend if you want to stay in a more traditional place hence the name of the place. "
"This is the second time I wrote the review for this guesthouse.
My first review for Micasa was gone when I click the send button, but I want to finish writing the review to let more people know Micasa and how good this place is.
The facilities are very new. The overall interior has that calm, clean, and a little bit zen feeling. Our family especially likes their bathroom, it was quite a enjoyment to use a bathroom like that. (The automatic bath system was very nice.) (And you MUST try their...

"I love to stay at this hotel. It has all amenities that you need, they provide coffee, tea, lotion, skim milk, face wash cream, comb, toothbrush & tooth paste and salt bath bar. The hotel is so new only 5 years old . Our room has 3 beds, separate toilet, separate sink and separate bathtub (includes standing shower). I enjoyed the lady onsen and sauna sợ much using it daily while we stay there for 3 nights. Breakfast was so good with lots of good food.
The hotel is connected to the train station from 2nd floor. It has 4 restaurants onsite. They also have laundry room (but dont put too much clothes it will take you forever to get them dried, instead using outside laundromat About 5 mins away, google for nearby laundromat). There are shops onsite for souvenirs as well but a little pricey. Only 1 station away from Kyoto station, where you can go to Nikki castle and other famous shrines in Kyoto. Will love to stay here again if we are in Osaka/Kyoto next time. "
"I love everything about this hotel. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend their onsen especially after or before long walks. You can easily get a cab via GO app in front of this hotel. If you don’t mind the walks, Gion and Nishiki Market is walkable when it’s not super hot. There is plenty of snacks and drinks in the basement and they offer light meals from 11-2 pm. My whole family enjoyed our stayed and will be definitely coming back here."
"We stayed for 3 nights, the hotel has an amazing first impression which is very Japanese.
The bed was the most comfortable one we slept on during our whole trip in Japan and the room was a good size and really quiet.
Breakfast was a highlight for us, we loved the choices and also the amount of Japanese options to try. Also the free ice lollies and Raman in the evening were fantastic.
The onsen on site was also a great experience, very clean ans a great variety of baths.
Overall we loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone to stay here. Being so close to Kyoto station was also a great benefit. "

"The care they put into the rooms is excellent. They make sure you have literally everything (toothbrush, mouthwash, hairbrush, slippers). The staff were helpful and it was in a great location. Would definitely come back"
