We wanted to stay in a traditional Samoan fale but with some facilities. This fitted the bill exactly - and we were right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had an umu (traditional Samoan meal) and Samoan entertainment by the staff after the meal.There was a great atmosphere at the resort, especially as it was the time of year for the palolo (an annual event fishing for blue worms (a local delicacy) on the reef). The service varied greatly between hotel staff, some were lazy and unhelpful others were great. Restaurant service could be better. Rooms were unique and well priced. Great beach. Was a overall a good stay, would like to come at peak session so it dosnt feel like a ghost town.
