Easy location from the Slow Boat to Luang Prabang. Excellent English speakers with warm, welcome and very adequate accommodation for fair price. Kap khun ka!

Arrived in blackness due to a power outage .. warmly welcomed by the owners .. wonderful response for assisting me back to the boat next day.

It was a nice room with a very nice bathroom and a terrasse to the street where you can sit. The room was very small and it was very noisy from the street (drunken people and motorbikes/cars). In general I would not recomend to stay there! It is way too expensive for what it is! No breakfast included (you pay 5$ extra for that). 10min walk from the slow boat pier was next very handy & the boss was friendly. Rooms where clean. In Pak Beng you can get twin bed rooms spontanous from 5$ a night, no need to book anything in advance:)

A very good stopover.

Located 1 minutes walk from the ferry, next to the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was large and comfortable and the WiFi was good.

Loved this Lao hotel! Clean, cosy and good quality room. Very quiet at night. Located 300 meters from the slowboats.

Nice clean room, friendly staff, we also had a nice view of the Mekong river over the rooftops across the steet. Reasonably quiet and very close to the dock. However, our next door neighbour was smoking alot on the narrow common balcony/walkway, and our room smelled of cigarette smoke, even with windows closed. Would be alot better if there designated smoking area away from the rooms.

Die Unterkunft ist für die Zwischen-Übernachtung während der Mekongk Flussfahrt sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr freundliches Personal , saubere und gepflegte Zimmer in der Nähe der Anlegestelle zeichnen diese Unterkunft aus. Wir waren dort zum 2. Mal Gäste.

Overnight in Pak bend

This place is ideal for an overnight stay.If i had been there any longer i would have liked a television and fridge for the money i paid.Newly renovated rooms are very nice and clean.

Clean large rooms close to boat dock. Really friendly manager who speaks excellent English. We also had a nice breakfast there. This appears to be the best choice if you are a traveler who likes to stay in places that are are “very good but not too expensive!”

Enkelt men rent guest house

Vi havde en enkelt overnatning undervejs fra Luang Prabang til Huay Xai. DP Guest House var udmærket til dette. Pænt og rent, dejlig balkon med gode stole. Der var ingen elkedel og intet køleskab. Morgenmaden var fin.

Excellent hotel!

DP was an excellent choice for us. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean! Breakfast was included and had great choices. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Bei unserer Ankunft im Guesthouse wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es einen Fehler bei der Buchung gegeben hätte und unser Zimmer belegt sei. Nach kurzer Diskussion hat uns der Besitzer ein alternatives Guesthouse gleich nebenan angeboten. Nach Besichtigung des Zimmers mussten wir allerdings feststellen, dass dieses nicht ansatzweise den gleichen Standard hat. Als wir dem nicht zustimmten, bot uns der Besitzer einen lächerlichen Preisnachlass von ca. 5€ an. Schlussendlich haben wir dann doch das gebuchte Zimmer bekommen. Das Zimmer an sich war sauber und soweit absolut in Ordnung. Trotz bereits ähnlicher Berichte auf Expedia, mussten auch wir diese negative Erfahrung machen. Daher bleibt auch ein negativer Gesamteindruck hängen.
