"Brilliant stay for two nights, fabulous helpful staff, hotel was spotless, great choice of breakfast. Would stay here again. It was also our 30th wedding anniversary and they surprised us with a bottle of bubbly which was a lovely touch. "

"Everything was really good starting with the front desk, they received us with a smile and they were super professional. The porter took our luggage to the room and show us around the hotel. Love the location, it was a walking distance of a lot of the best places to visit. "

"The bedroom was covered in ants, small spiders and bugs. There must have been 50+ in my room between the bathroom and the windows, coming out from under the skirting board, under the bed, under the seated bench, in the bathroom. On a few occasions i had to flick the ants off the bed and the shelf where my clothes were sat for the next days. On my check in review i highlighted this and asked that the room be hoovered before i got back on Friday night which didn't happen. On Saturday i could tell the room had been wet mopped but it didn't help the ant and spiders. Would appear to be an infestation."

"Incredibly loud from 6am. Could also hear knives and forks clanking all through the morning from 6am, kept us up all night. We could hear break fast service so loud. Banging, everything, "

"This property is well located and the staff were lovely. There was an issue with my room where there wasn’t a curtain so had to put up a bedsheet unfortunately I was incorrectly told that the hotel was fully booked the next morning when I asked when I should return back to the hotel to move room for the rest of my stay. After checking online and seeing a lot of rooms available, I emailed Expedia and only then the hotel allowed me to change room ( they told me they had recieved an email)- it was pretty unsettling. After this the stay was nice- it’s a great location, rooms are clean, there’s Netflix on the TV. Unfortunately also asked for a refund or compensation for the first night but the hotel never responded to Expedia for this."
