Very comfortable hotel in a good location. Very comfortable bed with sea views from the balcony. breakfast was good with a selection of different items. the hotel is located on a hill within 5 minutes walk to the beaches, however the return walk up the gradients require a reasonable state of fitness, but you can easily drive and park the car out of season.

Real find!

This place was a real find! We had originally booked for two nights but extended our stay because we really liked it there. We particularly liked the location, the decor and cleanliness of the hotel, the lovely helpful staff, the great breakfast (!) the sunrise over the Med.

Good choice in Palafrugell

Hotel Garbi has beautiful grounds and a nice pool. A grocery store is very nearby, and it is a short walk (down many steps) to the beach and restaurants. Wifi was spotty in my room, but the front desk loaned me a router, which worked fine.

Stayed here many times. Lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. One day the bar was closed for staff rest which seemed a strange reason. Also, the restaurant was closed at lunchtimes but hotel advertises the restaurant being open for lunch. Given how many good things there are about the hotel, Ill definitely be coming back. Cleaning staff are amazing and work so hard

Second time we have stayed in 2 years. Got a room on ground floor , 1 of 3 , still with a sea view but with intrusive noise from reception area and people waiting for lift, which woke me a couple of nights at 1.30 am . Higher floor room recommended. Property is a little old but fine. Nestled in woods next to a camp site . Staff are great . Breakfast is adequate but cannot cope with peaks where run out of glasses , run out of cups and takes a whike to replenish serving dishes. Evening meal to be avoided , tried once ! Hotel is set back on a hill so a room with sea view should be requested. Hotel is a short walk from sea front but via a hill and stairs which appeared to get steeper everyday ! Nothing to do in area if weather turns poor.

Great hotel

Overall great hotel in a good location. However, be wary that the hotel is located on a hill, so there’s quite a few steps to get back to your room. The breakfast was really good, staff friendly, the room was recently updated and had a balcony with lovely views. However, we were really disappointed to not have a fridge in the room but they allowed us to keep a few drinks in the reception fridge. Also we managed to borrow a parasol from reception which was very handy. The pool and breakfast area could do with a refresh but still was characterful. In summary, good hotel with free car parking and great breakfast. I would stay here again!

It is adequate but certainly not as nice as the pictures posted. The pool is down a hill close to a camp ground. Lots of cute wild cats living in the brush by it. It was fine but the pictures are a little deceiving.

The female receptionist during the late afternoon and evening hours is exceptional… The most friendly and helpful we have ever seen. The room was nice, and the view from the Seaview rooms and the balcony was also exceptional. Beautiful grounds and landscaping! There isn’t much immediately off of the property until you get into the village and beach area, which takes 15 minute walk. The trail walks along the coast line is also not to be missed… The water is crystal clear and makes for a nice snorkel. Breakfast was excellent! Not too many negatives here… The Jacuzzi needs to be turned up as it was just lukewarm.

Tudo otimo

Hotel com uma area de lazer muito bonita. Tem acesso a pe para a orla principal de passeio, mas o hotel fica em uma subida, entao se tiver dificuldade de locomoção vai precisar sair de carro para passeios. Tem estacionamento gratuito. Gostei muito do jantar do restaurante. Cafe da manha maravilhoso. O hotel é antigo, nao espere luxo, mas foi tudo otimo.
