infrequent busses on returning. It shuts at 5pm but the last yellow bus to Funchal is 2.35pm......of course there will always be a taxi outside for E10.....Price is up with Monte Palace Gardens but nothing like as good value.
These gardens are beautiful, we liked them better than the much more popular Botanical gardens
