"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."

"Old 1760 original hotel in good position with secure private parking. Host Olivier charming and very helpful re local info etc. Nearby recommended restaurant super value with excellent fare. Breakfast ok, but basic. Overall glad we stayed there. "
