Our room was clean, but like so many other reviews, the traffic sound was very loud. We also had young children staying a few doors down and we could hear them running by frequently. The room layout is weird too, the bed is right by the door and the living area and kitchen are in the back. If the layout was switched, I would bet they'd get a lot fewer complaints about the noise. The beach was a 10-minute walk from the property. The property's location was good for visiting Panama City Beach Pier Park, Rosemary Beach, and Seaside. This was a last-minute booking and I definitely wouldn't stay again, but it was fine.

Carillon Inn

First of all, this is Carillon Beach and this is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to including Hawaii. Normally, we stay in a house within the community. This time we decided to stay in the Carillon Beach Inn. The property is worn and in need of a good cleaning and painting. Each unit is privately owned and managed by a local company. We did not realize this. So, some units are better taken care of than others. Ours was adequate but in need of updates. With this resort, you only get two wash cloths and four towels for the week. You have to wash things on your own as no further service is provided. Also, our unit had a bathtub/shower and the tub had standing water in it as it would not drain adequately. The unit was adequately appointed with dishes and utensils. It also has a small dishwasher and sink with a two burner cook top but no stove. The TV would sometimes stay on a single channel and the channels did not match the local guide. For the price paid, I would expect everything to work and to have a better towel service. Finally, we could not find anywhere to drop off our recycle items. This is not the fault of the Carillon Inn but it would have been nice to recycle our plastic. The staff was generally responsive and helpful. All in all, it’s still Carillon Beach and that is why we were there in the first place.

Wanted to get away for Mother's Day.

Furniture in the back wasn't as expected, the bathroom light fixture hanging from the ceiling. No housekeeping, tube was dirty we had to put part of the bath towel in the bottom of the tub. The elevator smell like it's moldy. The pictures on the website, isn't so much as they made it to be. The freezer has ice that needed to be defrost, the freezer rack was a little rusty. My husband and I were afraid to get a shower from thinking it could been a camera installed in the bathroom. The only thing were comfortable were the bed, this is a nice resort but need alot of upgrade for the price they charges.

Comfortable with exceptions

Staff was fantastic, very accommodating. Our room was clean however noising at night, could hear road traffic and anyone walking plus hall light shown in regardless of blinds so sleeping was difficult. Bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards were a great benefit and being close to beach but this resort is away from all of the other tourists places so keep that in mind you’ll need a vehicle or Lyft to transport you as road is busy and can’t walk or bike very far. Would stay again in a different unit or nearby housing.

This was a nice place to stay away from the spring break craziness. The only thing this was lacking was kitchen items to use for cooking. A few more pots and pans would have been helpful.

Won’t stay here in this room again.

Room was not what we expected for the price paid. Furniture was old and damaged. Bed was uncomfortable. Bugs in room. We had to store food in microwave to keep it from getting infested. Had to throw away some food that bugs infested. A security guard we met was very rude and argumentative. He had a terrible attitude and told us information that wasn’t true about pet friendly beaches at PCB. Very condescending attitude. Maybe he needs another job. We’re mature adults, not young kids that were smoking dope all around the facility.
