  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

The room itself was nice with a great view. The resort had a nice little store with a Starbucks and everything you need for the beach. We ate at the little bar restaurant they had in the food was good. The bad expect a 5 to 10 minute wait for the elevator even longer during check-in and out times. And checkout is 9 AM and not 10 AM as advertised.

We always stay here for bike week. This year we brought the whole family and will probably be our yearly get away only complaint was the collage kids on the last day digging holes in the sand deep holes made no sense

For any participants in Ironman competitions in PCB, this is a GREAT location and property. Affordable, yet walkable to the Ironman village and the transition area for race day itself. Also a huge bonus getting to look directly onto the beach and waterfront, all while having access to pools and hottubs on the property. It made it so easy to navigate during race prep and easy to return to after a tough competition. Highly recommend!

Great family resort, very clean and well kept. Several options for pools/hot tubs for the days the beaches were closed due to double red flags. Could easily walk straight from the resort to the beach. Parking was great and easy to get in/out.

This is a beautiful property with lots of parking, convenient elevators, amazing views and great beaches. The check-in process is a little confusing but otherwise it’s perfect. I would absolutely come back here again.

Alot of walking from parking garage then had to go through the crosswalk but at least it was covered then the room we were in was on the 14th floor so it was a lot of walking but overall the ocean and beach view was amazing

We loved all of the pool options and the restaurant/bar onsite without having to go anywhere in the middle of the day if we didn’t want to. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the parking across the street. It was very confusing. Other than that everything was great!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The view was beautiful, there was easy access to the beach, loved the pools and hot tub, and the scenery was gorgeous! The only problems that I had was the 9 am checkout. Before I book the trip, I saw a 10am checkout time. Then after I booked and was locked in, it changed to 9am. Also, though the place was clean, there seems to be a mold problem because we saw and smelled some mold. In addition, the unit needs a little upgrading. Other than these few issues, the stay went well.

The amenities, the view and being right on the beach was incredible. Everyone there was super friendly. I would stay again. However, the communication about how to enter the outer door and inner was not clear. Security had to assist because the 800 number people were giving me the codes incorrectly. Also, my listing said parking was included. However, I had to pay. I will be seeking reimbursement.

location was great but our unit had lots of faults especially for the money. Our fridge leaked water and ice maker didn't work. microwave didn't work needing filter change. sink, toilet, countertop wasn't clean. Framed art leaning against wall instead of hanging. cobwebs on couch to floor. Overall I don't believe this unit was really ready for us, unit also not updated much for the money. Could definitely use a more beach front getaway with vacation decor to feel more favorable. Overall great location just not dressy enough for the location and money.

The rates are expensive for the type of rooms they offer. Floor was super dirty and Sandy. Limited supplies of towel and soap. No room service here. It has a good view besides that not worth almost so much for 4 days. Not to forget their hidden fees etc.

Excellent Beach Getaway

The unit we stayed in was great! Clean, had everything you needed in the kitchen to be away from home. All you need is to buy food. Walmart is very close by if you need to buy things. Excellent view of the beach and easy access. The only negative point is they aren't very clear on how to access your room and it's self check in with no one in person to ask questions. Rooms are coded with 6 and 4 digit codes they email you before you arrive. What i didn't know is you have 2 doors to get through to get to your room. Probably for safety but it'd be nice to know what code goes with what door. Other than that, excellent place to take your girlfriend, fiance, family, or just yourself to the beach.

I loved the location of the resort and amenities.The Southern Vacation people were very helpful with the whole process.. I did not like the room.. it definitely needs to be updated.. there is mold around washer and dryer and near water heater.. looks like black mold.. the water heater makes a loud banging noise at night.. the kitchen sink had no stopper in it, microwave handle was cracked and about to break, dishwasher had no lid to put pod in,, stove was slow to cook anything in oven.. bathroom lights had rust on them.. Wi-Fi worked intermittently.. the room needs updating for the cost to stay in it.. I would beware about booking this room if there is black mold in it. I would definitely stay at this resort again but not this room..

The sofa bed had dead bugs all over the mattress and we WOULD not use it because of that. Actually, we did not use the couch the entire week because of that. When we arrived, the entire floor throughout the condo was covered in a "sticky" film that we had to mop before we could comfortably walk on. Not sure what was covering the floor, but it was ridiculously sticky and had to be cleaned. Some of the drawer knobs in the kitchen had something resembling "jelly" or other sticky substance all over them that had to be cleaned off The two beds had sand in the sheets before we even slept in them and had to be changed. The size of the condo was great. The overall condition of the condo was great. It did have some issues that was not desirable and we will definitely try not to have to stay here ever again. The check in process is a disaster. Very limited space to park while trying to unload / check out a cart and on a very limited time frame to get all of that accomplished while so many people are trying to do the same thing. Very tight parking and everyone is in a hurry because of the limited parking to get it all done. The parking is a nightmare in itself. Not a fan of the distance to and from the parking garage and the process to go anywhere that needed your vehicle. Forget getting items you bought back to your condo. Not very convenient process of getting to and from places or the items you bought. The overall inconvenience of going anywhere because of the distance t
