Buffet meals were good and at my visit this time Indian themed, due to majority of visitors were Indian. This was my second visit. "We had a very enjoyable stay at Fox Kandy. The hotel is beautifully designed, and its hilltop location provides perfect views over Kandy and the surrounding hills. One of the standout moments was the morning mist covering the lower parts of the city and hills, leaving the peaks visible above it. It was a beautiful sight. The staff were exceptional, and the food and dining experience were also very good. The infinity pool is a must after a day in town. The road up the hill is a little winding, but once you arrive, it is clearly worth it. After a full day exploring Kandy, I’d suggest taking a tuk tuk back up to the hotel. Overall, a memorable stay in a very scenic setting."

"This is a historic hotel with a huge charm factor. My room was enormous with three balconies, and the staff was very welcoming and professional. I especially enjoyed tea and coffee in the outdoor private garden and pool area. The location was central and convenient. I always felt safe and welcomed. "
