WiFi in rooms is not great, better in the lobby. No bar that I could find and info on where the two restaurants are located was poorly signposted and poor info on them in the room. They are on level B by the way. E-cafe Western restaurant was ok, but they literally had the same buffet...

"It was a short business trip to Guangzhou. The front desk and reception service was excellent. As a foreigner, I have difficulty in arranging a taxi. The staff (Wechat nick name La La) help me to book a taxi each time I needed one. The hotel location is excellent as it is very near to subway station and a big shopping mall. Thank you. "

"Arrived late about 830pm, after exhausted day. Staff was very rude and spoke fast and unclear. Tried to ask for two bed room and got dinged for "you need to pay extra for this." Well we got originally be oked room and guess what? A window towards walkway. Smoke smelling everywhere. Next morning we got downstairs asking for bottles of water because there were two in the room. Front office staff asked if we were going to extend staying and I said no. So bo water. So nice."

"This property looks much older in person then it does in the photos. Very typical of Hotels that cater mainly to the home crowd. Meaning that service is minimal and a poor service attitude."

"The area was very close 5 mins walk to chimelong resorts and theme parks which is a must to visit, particularly the circus. The apartment was cheap and had 2 double beds in the room which was good for a family of 4. The others do not have the 2 double beds anymore. Lots of shops and eateries beside. We were mostly at the chimelong resort which is an amazing place to rest and relax. The condition were just fair. "We are here for the papygo theme park which is installed in the hotel. The hotel also used the theme park for the tourism marketing. The theme Parks were closed down for upgrading work on 15 May 2019 and the hotel personnel mentioned that they are two separate operator and they will not be responsible for the temporary close down of the theme park. Please take note of this if you are booking of this hotel because of the theme park like us to avoid any disappointment."
