"We were well looked after from the moment we arrived. Communication with staff before our arrival was great and there was always somebody available if we needed help or advice about planning trips while we were there. The room was beautiful and the hotel is right in the heart of the old town so we were near restaurants and cafes. It was also very peaceful through the night. Delicious breakfast in the small quiet courtyard was a perfect way to start day."

"Excellent stay at the Splendida, thank you Maria & all the wonderful staff. We were greeted with a very warm welcome, an introduction to the cherry liqueur whilst being given tips to the local area! Maria kindly arranged a day trip to the Krka waterfalls & arranged a dinner reservation at an excellent fish restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful with excellent egg, crepe & omelette options. "My stay was just okay in part because the hotel and I had a dispute about being overcharged. I am partly to blame as well as Expedia but let’s just say no kindness was shown to me. The hotel room was very cute but small (nice amenities including a robe and slippers). The bathroom did not have a curtain on the window which was odd and the door handle pulled out when shutting. "The apartment was clean and extremely well-equipped. The staff members were friendly, polite and exceptionally helpful. The breakfasts were excellent - varied, attractively-presented and featuring an impressive range of local produce. Shops were nearby, and within two hundred metres we could walk to Diocletian's Palace, the waterfront and two markets,as well as to the ferry port and bus station."

"Location was convenient to walk to the old city stores and restaurants, however looking out of the window in the room was a junkyard, scrap metal and other debris The bathroom was fabulous with very modern fixtures. The electric lock system was wonderful not having a physical key was great "
