Our stay at this property was great. We were well cared for and had the perfect mix of fun and relaxation during our say. The staff were very attentive and friendly. A big thank you to Andre and Antonio for getting us settled. We were at the hotel during a local holiday (Annexation of Nicoya) and the restaurant staff went out of their way to tell us all about the holiday and many other cultural details. During our stay we were able to use the kayaks to go around the island during the day and go on the bioluminescence tour at night. Our guides Josue and Oliver were so knowledgeable and even though we had a lot of rain during our bioluminescence tour, Josue and Oliver’s great attitudes and wealth of knowledge made it just another part of the adventure. We stayed for two nights with our two sons (8 and 12) and it was just the right amount of time to enjoy the islands flora and fauna, hotel amenities, and get some relaxation in. The highlights of our trip were the Howler Monkeys right outside our Glamping tent, the amazing staff, and seeing lighting, bioluminescence, jumping fish, and firefly’s all at the same time. All that is to say that we highly recommend this hotel. :)

Beautiful spot, nice view off the deck. Staff were friendly, kayaks, paddle board and other beach amenities for use. Restaurant was fantastic the best in all our stays in Costa Rica.

We like that place in the island, nice and well organized, quiet and , located in the middle of beautiful harbor ! We didn't like the local restaurant at all! It's too expensive and no alternative around! Tourists don't have any alternative - they cannot go to any other place for dinner! Besides that, we didn't like the clearness of ocean water surround the island , it's quite dirty in the morning and nobody is taking care about it

We always enjoy Chiquita and we do bring lot of our client and family You always have great worker This time the breakfast quality was not that great Then we propose the tour for the lumino to our clients 40$ per person was way deceiving for what our client saw Then it seems that you are short in employes Could not order drink in front of the lagoon For sunset Had to go at the bar Small things that we never had to complain about before Just saying it to help you keeping the quality standing of Chiquita We love your place and enjoy every time

It was unique experience and so was the bioluminiscence tour. It ws very hot when we visted and lack of air conditioner made it worse for us. We wanted to do a tour offered by the hotel but that was cancelled. There is an additional $60 environment fee over the regular room cost. Considering everything, I probably won't visit again.

The privacy. Friendliness of staff. The arrival welcome was a little disappointing compared to the very attentive welcome we received when we visited the property a few months before in October. Previously, we were welcomed very attentively. This time, we had to wait a couple minutes before anyone greeted us at the orientation area. It was a little embarrassing when we bragged about how superlative the service was initially to our family, and then we they joined us for a celebration, there was no one at the reception area when they arrived :-( Otherwise, the stay was excellent, and our invited family was impressed and enjoyed themselves. Thank you.

Is a great place to spend a couple of days away from the crowd and relax. The peacefulness of the island is priceless, the staff is great, and also is a fantastic place if you're looking for a romantic getaway. The tends are awesome and have a very nice view. However, just be prepared for a few of things: Is an island, so there are no options to buy food unless is at the restaurant and bar of the hotel, which are quite pricy. There are not so many activities to do, except for kayaking or paddle boarding which is offered by the hotel for free, and the tours organized by the hotel which you have to pay for. The tends are great, but consider that there is no aircon (because is a tend of course), so it can get quite hot during the day, and don't expect much privacy when you go to toilet. I'm not saying these things are negative but just things to consider.

Excelente hotel con estilo muy único, muy aislado de todo y excelente para relajarse. La calidad de las instalaciones son muy buenas, las camas y almohadas muy comodas y con todas las comodidades de un hotel normal, definitivamente vale la pena pagar por AC en la ha habitacion y la pensión completa. Las comidas en el restaurante son excelente calidad y sabor, y menú muy variado.

Nueva administración y todo cambió. Se perdió el servicio personalizado. Casi nos dejan sin cenar porque supuestamente estaba todo lleno. Después de rogar nos dieron cita a las 7:30 y llegamos estaban la mitad de las mesas vacías. Nos iban a dejar sin cenar sabiendo que no teníamos otra opción de donde ir, y eso a pesar que desde las 5pm estábamos pidiendo cita. Lástima el hotel que tanto queremos ahora es el hotel del NO, y todo por un mal gerente. El resto de empleados excelentes.
