Lovely place to stay

Lovely hotel, we had a big family room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly. Breakfast offered a range of choices and was delicious and generous in size. On-site restaurant was good quality too. Lovely beer garden which also has live music whilst we were there. Close to the Eden Project, Fowey and other small local beaches

Easy check in. Room was ready and waiting. Spotlessly clean, with coffee & tea making facilities. Free bottle of water. Comfy bed and free wifi. Breakfast was excellent with good options. Staff pleasant

Fabulous stay!

The room was very clean and better than any hotels I have stayed in. It was a shame because we only stayed for a night. Will definitely rebook with them in the future for a longer stay. The food was excellent as well as the breakfast. Staff were very attentive and polite.

The Britannia was the best small Hotel we have ever stayed in, the welcome, the warmth of the staff , the room, the whole Hotel gave a cosy first class feel. We will definately be staying there again, and the food, well as the rest of the Britannia first class.

Nice one

Very friendly helpful staff allowed us to park our motorbikes around back out of sight as on main road , all meals very nice , room nice and clean , easy to find , had big pub garden and play park if you had kids also camp site

Great place to stay, extremely welcoming and safe

Room was very clean, Dinner was very nice (the halloumi fries are amazing), all covid measures are in place and i felt extremely safe in the bar and in my room. Breakfast was lovely and the little things, like warm milk with your coffee, are a great touch. I would highly recommend the britannia and will definitely be staying again.

Friendly, clean hotel

Precautions for covid-19 were obvious as soon as we entered. There was a good set up and a massive beer garden. The room was clean and tidy and the food in the waves restaurant was brilliant.

Lovely place to stay

Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, customer service is excellent. Food is great too...the only downside is that it is on a busy road and it can be very noisy at night.

Very comfortable hotel

We were very impressed with the hotel. The room was comfortable, breakfasts and evening meals were great. We stayed for 2 nights as we wanted to be near the Eden Project. We had spent 2 nights in Penzance as we wanted to visit places further south. The hotel we chose there was not so good. We were so relieved to have such good service here.

Best staff and terrific food.

The staff were first class, easily better than any of the big brand hotels I usually stay at, friendly and helpful. The food in the lounge was excellent with a varied menu and good service. Breakfast was also excellent. The only reason for a mark down on comfort was the mattress was not great, we both suffered back ache. However, great stay and we would return.,

What a treat.. after a 9 hour car journey. To discover friendly and welcoming staff. room was immaculate, lovely en suite shower. All meals were excellent, with a good choice of drinks Staff always on hand, and happy to help Can't recommend enough

Loved everything about our stay here. The rooms, food and staff are excellent and the location is perfect. We used it as a base to travel around and liked it that much we have booked another week in September.
