"Overall very nice stay"

"We were in Newark for a lacrosse tournament and this was the perfect location. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and the hotel patio and bar were beautiful. We loved sitting outside and relaxing with a few drinks before dinner. Their espresso martini was delicious! Quaint little town with lots of history and beautiful buildings."

"Our stay was fine, room was comfortable however the noise was not the best. Windows definitely not insulated and cars and landscaping was noisy. So were the people above us stomping around making the room shake. Something that bothered me were residual hairs in the shower. Never a great sign to me. Hallways seemed clean and so did lobby. It wasn’t the worst and wasn’t the best. Would choose elsewhere next time."

The bathroom shower we had was a little inconvenient and I could see that some folks could struggle getting in and out of the large claw-foot tub. There are no grab bars. "The staff were very nice and they made sure to give guests fresh towels and toiletries every day. The room was decent but there were some details that were missed by the cleaning staff. The shower was good but I didn’t like the mat in the tub. Overall, it is an older motel but not a terrible place to stay for few nights. I was a solo traveler so I definitely appreciated the staff putting me on the top floor in the back for more quiet enjoyment."

"Me and my son have been staying here for a couple weeks now and while we've been here my son has cleaned up trash cleaned up animal waste and definitely has made the place look a lot better I've done detail cleaning to my own room other than that I'd love to give some of the mates lessons on how to clean."

"Good news was the breakfast and location near our destination. Large fridge and freezer is good. The room was generally clean but the kitchen floor was a little sticky, the toilet seat moved, and the couch in the TV Room was either broken or underneath the cushions or frame on the one side was lower than the other side. They could of gave us a few extra towels as we were there for 2.5 days and no cleaning done to the room. Overall I would rate it a "B""
