"First the good… The properly is right off the beach which was lovely and the staff was kind and very professional. The staff helped make our trip a four star rather than a three star experience. Now the not so good… The food was just ok. There was also no food for snacking available in between scheduled mealtimes. And, the unacceptable.., During our stay we had a fire alarm go off at 4 am two nights in a row which immediately woke us up out of our sleep. The alarms lasted a few minutes...

"We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not. The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper. The outside area was very nice, the inside area is like a very rustic old north american cottage. Very old gas...

"Beautiful grounds. Great restaurants. The rooms are very luxurious - especially the bathtubs. Entertainment is great too! Kids loved the pool. I do wish there were more pools for the kids to enjoy. Booking reservations for dinner was a nightmare though. We couldn't book in advance, were staying a week and on night one there was a restuarant already entirely booked! How does that even happen?! Also no kids in restaurants after 8pm!!! Finally check in was awful. We got there on time - rooms not...

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. "The property is stunning.and very well kept. An upgrade to a contemporary suite is worth the extra money in my opinion. The staff were attentive and friendly. Housekeeping was great. The beach is beautiful, but unfortunately, seaweed is a huge problem. There is a shuttle to another beach though. The resort is close to the airport, but not much else. The food was very good. We enjoyed our stay very much."
