"Room was clean and the beds are some of the better ones we've had at any hotel. You are staying at a historic property in the heart of downtown, they're not going to have "modern-day" amenities like hairdryer and such but the newer TVs, fridge, microwave in rooms are great if you're bringing leftovers back and want to relax before turning on for the night."

"It was a clean property with friendly, helpful staff. The beds were super soft. Great pillow choices. Good system for shampoo, soap, and lotion. Nice towels. The breakfast was good. Love the mini waffles. Good parking for travelers with boats. Great recommendation for dinner!!!"

"Our stay at Barker’s Island Inn was truly wonderful. The location is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful waterfront views and easy access to everything around Superior and Duluth. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
What really made this place stand out, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. They treated us like valued guests instead of just another...
