Parndana itself is a small remote town with very ordinary facilities. Open House is enjoyable if you are gregarious and want to share your breakfast with other guests and witrh Jane, your hostess. (If you are a couple that prefers privacy & a separate table, this is not the place for you.) We enjoyed ourselves, and found Jane very helpful & a fount of knowledge about Kangaroo Island.

Comfortable, Friendly Stay.

We had three nights here while exploring KI. Very comfortable and clean. Older style home, but rooms very clean & beds great. Breakfast around the communal table is a highlight, though a little variety on the menu choice would have been nice. Owner is lovely, and full of knowledge about where to go, what to see and where to eat. Parndana is in the middle of the Island so a good base to explore from. However, apart from the pub there is nowhere else close by for evening meals. 20 to 30 minute drives to eateries. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

初めてのB&B

初めてのB&Bでしたが、Janeさんが暖かく迎えてくれて居心地が良かったです。規模は大きく無いので人を感じることが出来ました。話をしていたら、カンガルー島で、以前にお世話になったガイドのお姉さんとわかり二人で驚いていました。朝食は普通より一工夫された卵料理を振舞っていただきました。次回訪れる機会があれば、また泊まりたいと思います。

Friendly and Perfect Location

Being located centrally it makes it easy to reach all corners of the island. Jane is a great host only too willing to give tips and advice. Breakfast was fantastic, and if you get the opportunity to have dinner, take that as well.

Budget B&B

Very friendly host although facilities and breakfast basic. Convenient location for exploring north, West and South of island. Allow 75 mins for drive from / to ferry terminal.

Situado en mitad de la isla Kangaroo, ideal para hacer recorridos por los lugares tan maravillosos de la isla, la dueña nos sirvio un buen desayuno y nos indico los mejores lugares para visitar.

nice central place to stay

The host is quite a lovely woman with good advice about the island. She cooked delicious bread and eggs. We checked in very late and she accommodated us. The location is good for reaching every part of the island within 1-1.5 hours. Recommend visiting the wildlife park a few km down the road to hold a koala!

Very enjoyable experience

Perfect location for access to the Flinders Chase National Park. Generously sized room, king sized bed with high quality bed linen. Enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant.

Jane est remarquable par sas gentillesse, la simplicité et la qualité de ses conseils, son affabilité, et la façon avec laquelle est interagit avec ses hôtes. On se sent "chez soi" dans cette maison fleurie et gaie

Absolutely beautiful! Will definitely return!

Breakfast was delicious! My partner and I recently stayed, felt right at home. While we were on Ki we got engaged,Jane was great even got us a engagement present :) will definitely return! Comfy bed and great service!

Great place and fantastic hostess

This was my first B&B and it was a truly great experience. Jane was very helpful and gave me heaps of tips which places to visit to avoid tour buses. House was clean and cozy and had everything I need. The house was very conveniently located for me as I can get to most places within half an hour. Highly recommended and will most likely return here when I revisit the island.

Great Host

Very enjoyable B & B experience. Delicious cooked breakfasts with local produce and home gown vegetables and herbs. Host (Jane) provides touring advice and promotes all tha Kangaroo Island has to offer.

friendly and adventurous.

We learned lots about life on Kangaroo Island from Jane and had some good discussion about the history, people, animals, etc. Nice room with access to an outside area and a large eating area. We bought some fish which Jane cooked beautifully for us.
