However it is located next to route 40 and the road noise is very much present. The breakfast is minimal with semiluna, bread, jam , cookie and coffee grounds delivered to your room to make yourself. "Please book for more than one day. Unfortunately we only had one night and it was not enough. This is a beautifully curated property. Clean, comfortable, artistically decorated with one of a kind views. The heated pool was lovely. The food was delicious. Make sure to book dinner ahead of time is you wish to eat dinner at the hotel. If not, they will call a cab to take you in to town. I hope to be able to return to casa de alto in the future. "

"This beautiful hotel sits in a valley surrounded by gorgeous mountains and right across from a beautiful river at the foot of high mountain cliffs. The setting alone is worth the price but the hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms very comfortable, the staff very attentive and the food very good. The hotel also has the most beautiful trails along the river with flowers and trees and bushes. Absolutely idyllic. To top it all off, there was a family of geese of a rare species that camped in front of the hotel and a King fisher that visited frequently. Highly recommend!"
