"Pleasantly surprised by this hotel, reception area always smelt lovely and the room was surprisingly quiet, no noise from other guests at all. Staff incredibly helpful, really can’t fault it. "

"I've stayed here before and I knew how appropriate this hotel was for me. Staff 100%. Meal options excellent. WOTIF? Not so good. Two amounts were taken from my account. You can only contact Wotif by email or chat. Waiting time ok compared to banks and internet providers but the chat itself was disruptive. I had to upload proof of the double dipping to my bank account and the chat upload wouldn't accept the upload despite being around 186k. Very frustrating to the chat agent and myself. Several attempts over 15-20 minutes meant the chat dropped out due to my failed responses. I phoned Mercure who rightly said they couldn't assist but they only had one booking. "
