"The highlight to me was the staff - attentive, accommodating, friendly and enthusiastically helpful, despite my lack of fluency in Portuguese. and varying degrees of fluency in English on their part. I found the 4x4 trip to the resort more heartbreaking than bone-jarring. The indigant people live off very little. I was wondering if a boat transfer from Pemba would be possible? "Chuiba Bay Lodge is beautiful hidden pearl by rhe beach 20 min. drive from Pemba Airport. Great accomodation with great service and great cartering. The owners Mrs. Maria and Mr. Domingos was very welcoming and helpful and made my 3 days stay a pleasure!"
