"We enjoyed a lovely one night stay at Agents House. We were met with a very warm welcome from the owners and were made to feel instantly at home. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice of home cooked dishes. Location is excellent, on a quiet back road and only a few miles from Hay on Wye. Thoroughly recommended"

"The room was in the attic with a very low ceiling, and we kept hitting our heads on it. The room was also extremely small, making it quite uncomfortable to stay in. The shower water was cold, which was very disappointing. On the positive side, the food was genuinely delicious and was the best part of our stay. Overall, despite the good food, the room conditions and facilities made this a disappointing experience."

"Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time."
