Clean, comfortable, quiet, well-appointed — one of the best stays we've enjoyed in frequent travel around the U.K. since retiring. Many thoughtful small amenities and conveniences, very good breakfast (for us vegetarian). We look forward to another visit.

Perfect Penrith Stopover

Beautiful property, really friendly owner, unbelievably comfortable bed and stunning decor on deluxe room king room. Also had a lovely cooked breakfast. Great location, close to town centre with easy parking outside. Would thoroughly recommend!

Lovely night away

We had a wonderful stay at Brooklands for the night. Our host offered us information on arrival and parking and the option to book in for breakfast. The room was very comfortable and spacious with great views. There was a good shower and plenty of towels.

Lovely Penrith guest house

Welcoming stay at a beautifully maintained guest house in Penrith. The owner Sue was very helpful, with great suggestions for dinner and day trips, and efficient service. The room was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Delicious cooked breakfast. Great location, close to town centre and a ten minute walk from the train station.

This is probably the best Guest House we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous, hospitality is excellent. The lovely little extra touches in the room are so nice. The breakfast was filling and good quality with plenty of variety.plus ww got parked outside the door. Theres isnt much to do in Penrith but we didnt care as we loved our stay here.I cannot recommend enough, its so worth a stay.

Festival success!

Excellent, everything we needed and more, literally going the extra mile. The owner drove us to a festival that we came for when we could not get a taxi or uber. The tub was the best I had ever soaked in. Very clean and comfortable room.
