"The owner was lovely. Unfortunately the bed was very old and sank in when you sat on it. The whole bed also moved when you moved. The shower had very little water pressure, the light was out over the mirror and there was no soap etc for showering."

The hillside view from the back deck is beautiful. The apartment was very clean and had off-street parking right out front. Overall, a great value. "

She went out of her way to ask about our car situation (I had called earlier to say we may not make the booking) Also the person I spoke to on the phone (apologies I can't quite remember their name - Michel?) was very accommodating and kind to talk with. "Comfortable stay. We had to pay for towels and sheets. We traveled from overseas and are not familiar with the setup of holiday parks in NZ. Having to pay for towels and sheets seemed strange. The bathroom was outside and shared. This too was an inconvenience. It was not clearly stated in the description of the property when we made our bookings online. There were no shops or dining available in the vicinity and we had to drive almost 30 minutes to the nearest shopping area. Come prepared with all your things for staying here overnight. They need to update the amenities description online."
