Hotel Boutique Ergjeria

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Boutique Ergjeria in Gjirokastër and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The hospitality and service were exceptional throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and there was a real warmth and personal touch that made us feel more like guests in someone’s home than simply customers at a hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful. It has so much traditional Gjirokastër character, with stunning woodwork, furnishings and local touches that give you a real sense of the history and culture of the city. At the same time, everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well looked after. The location is fantastic and perfect for exploring Gjirokastër, particularly if you want to experience the atmosphere and charm of the old town. A special mention has to go to the breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Sitting down together as a family to a generous, home cooked traditional breakfast was one of those simple experiences that made our stay particularly memorable. We travelled as a family with our young children and were made to feel completely at home. The kindness and genuine hospitality we received made a huge difference. If you are visiting Gjirokastër and want somewhere authentic, traditional, exceptionally clean and genuinely welcoming, Hotel Boutique Ergjeria is a fantastic choice. A beautiful place"

"The staff was amazing! During our stay my husband suddenly became very ill and they gave us a late checkout, delivered medication and allowed us to stay in the hotel for as long as we needed until he felt better. The hotel was also located in a beautiful and central area so it was very easy to move around!"

"We only spent night in this magical hotel, but wish we'd spent longer. Though somewhat tricky to drive to, there is a big parking lot, and it's only a 5 min walk down the hill to the old town and restaurants. The view is stunning, with a lovely garden from which we enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The building is charming and our room was decorated with delightful antique elements."

"I recently stayed at villa permet which a 20 minute drive to the thermal baths. My mother and I were very very impressed and pleased with the villa, it was impeccably clean and beautifully done. Staff was wonderful, they even went out of their way when my mom forgot her bag and they had it delivered by bus to our next destination to saranda. With all its contents including my moms NY drivers license inside. Very trustworthy people including the bus driver"

"Beautiful hotel. Perfect location & easy to get to by car. Parking is limited but there are spaces, and staff will move your car for you if needed. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated in traditional style. Breakfast was delicious, traditional platter of olives, cucumber, tomato’s & watermelon, bread basket & spreads & jams, plus some cake & pastry with fig jam and on top of that a fresh omelette & a sausage. Coffee, juice & water in offer for drinks. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
