"Myself, mother and sister shared the family room which was comfortable and spacious. We felt at home straight away, which was largely down to the staff who were welcoming and friendly. They were efficient and professional while still maintaining a very helpful and personable approach. "The breakfast was full Scottish with cereal loads of tea and coffee and different juices set you up for the day , room was clean with a hairdryer, tea & coffee and TV. Staff were friendly."

"Our room was just lovely! We had the cutest two twin beds room up on the second floor. The views were so nice from the windows. The shower was the best we’d had in Scotland. The breakfast was amazing! Seriously, the black pudding and haggis options were great. Our host, Greg, took care of everything for us. We will come back and stay again."

"The breakfasts were very good different and well cooked and presented, the buffet had the usual but also water with lemons and homemade jams, fruit and yoghurts. But the homemade bread was fabulous.
The only fault I could point out was that the duvet was very heavy, which is my preference for a lighter duvet."

"The Station House was in many ways ideal. The room was roomy and well furnished, the access to the extra communal room where we could sit and make tea and coffee and keep fresh milk and food in a fridge was excellent.
Two small things let it down.
The reception was across the road in the associated hotel. Once in the hotel the notice said the reception was upstairs but there was no obvious reception desk up there. I looked around and went in to the bar and no one was behind the bar. It turned...
