"The pool was nonexistent, along with the hottub. The fire alarm was in the drawer, with wires hanging out of the ceiling were it was supposed to be, znc one of gge light fixtures had the end cut off. The worst was the bed bugs that woke m e up in ghe midgle of hhd night. I HAVE PHOTO'S OF EVERYTHING "
"Our B& B host were awesome. Friendly , talkative and very willing to be helpful with any reasonable need. Thank you Linda and Ken for the added touch to our mini-getaway.
Breakfast was timely and fantastic. There are soft drinks and bottled water available as needed during our stay and the room treats left each day were very tasty. In fact, I asked about one particular treat and once we returned home, we made them ourselves.
( Dolly's Strawberry cake mix, 8oz whipping cream ,one egg & powdered sugar.....simply and tasty)
I would recommend a stay here . The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean and super bright WHITE. No issues with street parking in front of the B&B during any part of our 3 day/2 night stay.
I don’t really have anything to point out that would need to be improved on, the Victorian charm of the B&B and its décor fit very well with the town of Boonville. Our main purpose of coming here was to visit Warm Spring Ranch and do two different tours of the Budweiser Clydes farm which is less than 15 mins away. Our morning walks ( 4 miles RT) on the Kathy Trail that is a few minutes walk from the B&B was very safe & peaceful"
"We thought we would get something average or slightly below average when we reserved our room- a nice stay for the night with the kids before going on to other things. What we ended up getting was a room that still had items strewn about from other visitors, no body wash, poop/mud? smeared on the lotion bottle by the sink, and a TV that didn't work. The place just felt grubby and uncomfortable. We spent most of our time at the pool so the kids could play, but the hot tub we hoped to enjoy was broken. Just kind of a sad, dirty place. The people who worked there were doing their best and were very kind, but I think their resources were extremely limited. "
"This is our hotel of choice when visiting our kid at college. Staff are friendly, place is clean. Will continue to visit when we are in town. Highly recommend it!"
"Very small town-no food available. Breakfast diner next store was closed for day. The inn is charming with train depot across the street, will return if in area"
