Staying with the sisters who run the property and the other staff became increasingly pleasant with every passing day. Plus, I was more than comfortable in my room, where they don't skimp on pillows for those of us who like to sit up in bed to work. There's no generator on the premises for the load-shedding but that's normal for comparable properties. Just stay atune to the schedule is what I learned in southern Africa.

Mooi verblijf met wat verbeterpunten

Leuke gastvrouw en mooi verblijf. Bedden waren erg slecht en veel schimmel in de badkamer. Ontbijt was heerlijk, houden rekening met mensen die naar Kruger National Park gaan.

A very good stay close to the Kruger Park

A very good stay at the Kruger Park. When we checked in, a bottle of wine and snacks & sweets were located on our bed, free of charge! (Many thanks!). The hotel is safe with gates (otherwise it says that the criminality is low in Phalaborwa). The hotel is located very close to the Kruger Park gate. It s Clean and comfortable. Free parking and free good internet. And the breakfast is great - so great that we needed a doggy bag for the last omelettes. (Many thanks!).

Parfait pour une nuit. Proche entrée Kruger

J’ao Pris cette hôtel juste pour y passer la nuit et pourvoir le plus proche de l’entrée au parc Kruger. Qu’on se le dise ça reste très sommaire mais suffisant pour y passer une nuit. Il y’a le nécessaire (wifi, clim, sdb etc) Petite attention, on vous offre une bouteille de vin locale et quelques petites mise en bouche pour aller avec. La propriété est très sympa et sait recevoir. Merci à elle d’ailleurs. Sans problème je vous recommande cet hôtel seulement si vous comptez y passer un très court séjour.

Equipe muito boa, porem as condições do quarto estavam indesejáveis. O ar condicionado não dava vazão para o calor e o piso do chão estava estufado com o perigo de acidente. Não deveriam disponibilizar esse quarto. Café da manhã muito bom. Equipe do ambiente simpática.

Great place to stay near Phalaborwa gate Kruger

The owner, Olga, was a wonderful host, gave us very warm hospitality and a lot of information about the local area. We slept comfortably and the breakfasts set us up for the whole day. Nothing was too much trouble for Olga and Lalamo is set in very pleasant gardens. The guest house is perfectly located only three or four minutes drive from Phalaborwa Gate and is an ideal, peaceful place to stay. We would be happy to recommend this guest house to anyone.

Awesome Venue

The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very secured environment, clean and neat surroundings. A variety of great accommodation to choose from and the breakfast which is included in the rates are far too much, but very tastefully prepared. The location centrally situated between mid town and the entrance gate to Kruger National Park.Really great value for money.

Spitzenlage zum Kruger Nationalpark

Unser ursprünglich gebuchtes Zimmer war sehr enttäuschend. Da jedoch in dem Zimmer die Klimaanlage defekt war und so kurzfristig kein Techniker erreichbar war, wurde uns das Familienzimmer angeboten. Dieses Zimmer war eigentlich ganz okay. Das Frühstück war auch okay.

Place worth considering for sure! Recommended!

Very hospitable, friendly, yet professional owner. Overall, a decent place to stay, with a nice garden and fantastic breakfast included! Location is perfect, the map speaks for itself. If you prefer to stay outside Kruger, this is the place to go! However- looking at the pictures and other reviews here and elsewhere, I expected a bit more. Yeah, I know it wasn't overpriced and the value for money was still very good I guess, but I expected a slightly bigger room and just slightly higher standard. It wasn't a showstopper at all though- just saying. Keep that in mind, know what to expect and enjoy the stay- this place is highly recommended!

Nice place

Ivonne and the other staff were really great!!! Breakfast was delicious, beds confortable and a great shower! The location is the best, only 2km from Kruger. Gate, 1 block from a good pub/restaurant n 2 blocks from the supermarket!
