"This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We walked into a room that smelled like mold and looked like it had not been cleaned properly. The mirror had water stains, the floors didn’t appear to have been mopped, and the toilet was not clean either. On top of that, half of the outlets in the room didn’t work, and several lamps were completely nonfunctional.
The hotel also failed to provide basic toiletries. There was no shampoo, body wash, or conditioner in the room, so we called the front desk to request them. At first, we were told they had “run out.” After going back and forth with staff, they claimed there had been a misunderstanding and sent an employee to install the toiletries.
After I hoped in the shower I realized that the water in the tub doesnt drain and there was still no body wash. It was honestly one of the worst shower experiences I’ve ever had. When I called the front desk again, they admitted they had forgotten to tell me they were out of body wash entirely. I asked for a refund, but they refused and told me I would have to go through the third-party booking website instead.
The next morning, checking out was just as frustrating. I stood at the front desk for over five minutes with no employee anywhere in sight. I had to go knock on a random room in a corner to ask for an employee to come check me out of the hotel. Every single aspect of this stay — cleanliness, maintenance, amenities, service, and checkout — fell well below any acceptable standard."
