Our romantic staycation was filled with love, romance, horrible customer service was abruptly ended by retaliation for expectating to be treated like guests not criminals.
The 2nd night we were at the hotel, i ahad plans to meet a friend while she was going to stay behind and relax. We said good bye in the lobby with the night clerk had just reflashed our door keys. I left and she went to the corner store. Upon return she was told that she needed return to the office and show id or leave.when i got back, she told me that my fiance had been kicked out the hotel that afternoon. Also inaccurate. I know because she was by my side the entire day in our room.
The next day she went to an appointment in the am and i slept in or should i say overslept. I was crudely woken by an extremely rude housekeeper trying to push open the latched door. I informed her that we were staying over but had to wait for my fiance. I was told they would be calling the police despite our continued reservation
In the move, her purse ( a $150 Coach purse) was left behind. When she inquired about it with the desk she was treated as if she was crazy and told they didnt have it. And then, scolded by the manager for accusing his staff of taking it. 4 hours later, they "found" her purse.
The next day, Valentines Day, we were ready to rebook the room and were told that we cant rebook the room because she was on a do not rent list. Funny, weve stayed here 2 dozen times before with no issue. Never again.
