The owners of the property were excellent to deal with and they really made us feel welcome. The breakfast was much more than we expected. The only issue we really had was with the weather, it was unseasonably cold during our stay and as a result we could not utilize the beach.

lovely big rooms, we had a kitchen which was not in use for food but it would have been nice to have a kettle. we had the room facing the building in front unfortunately this made the scooters using the road outside the hotel very noisy throughout the night, and the rubbish collectors and the road sweeper( twice during the week @5.30am) That said our friends who had a room slightly higher up facing the harbour did not have any issues with noise. the breakfast was good and it was lovely in the harbour side restaurant. Expedia info said that the B&B can arrange transfers for 10 euros each I think this is incorrect as they arranged ours, which we were grateful for, but it was 100 euros for a taxi. unfortunately the lift from the harbour did not open early enough to use public transport to connect to our flight( walking up the zig zag road was not an option for one of our group) . Overall it is a nice place and the owners are very helpful. I would recommend it if you were going to this area, but take earplugs just in case.

Dejlig B&B helt tæt på Middelhavet.

Mindre lys lejlighed med dejligt stort badeværelse, soveværelse med god skabsplads, køleskab og fjernsyn. Gratis WIFI. Morgenmad på dejlig åben terrasse helt tæt på hyggelig atmosfærefyldt havnemiljø/Marina . Regelmæssig togdrift til Napoli, Pompeji og Sorrento ca 20 min. gang fra lejligheden, så vi kom nemt rundt. Mulighed for at sejle til Capri/Amalfikysten fra den lille havn. Flere gode restauranter ved havnen.

Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta lilla B&B för alla som vill uppleva italiensk miljö utan många turister. Hotellägaren och deras servicepersonal har alltid varit mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma, maten jätte gott, rummet enkelt men mycket rent. Daglig städning. Kanske lite för mycket trafik, framför allt dagtid men på natten var det lugnt i September. Badmöjligheter i närheten samt lätt att ta sig via båt eller bus till utflyktsmål.

10 Tage im Hotel l'approdo

Das Hotel, das Zimmer und die fleißige Familie der dieses Hotel gehört, sehr gut.Dazu gehört auch ein Fisch und Pizza Restaurant, je nach Geschmack, preiswert und lecker. Das Zimmer war übergroßes Apartment ,Parterre , viel Platz, viele Schränke, riesiges Bad.Unglablich sauber, jede Ecke glänzt, wohlriechend.Die Betten sind Reinfall leider, hart wie Stein, hatten große Rückenschmerzen, das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig, gleich neben der Küche gelegen, die Straße ist übermäßig laut sowie unsere Gastgeber, Nachbarn,Hafenberech...war kaum richtiger Schlaf möglich. Kein richtiger Strand, man muss zu einem der Restaurants mit Bar und Liegen, meist mit Eintritt von 5€, Liege 5€ und evtl. 5€ Sonnenschirm, also 15€ pro Person/Tag.Um in die obere Stadt zu gelangen muss mit Aufzug 0,50€ /Person/Fahrt genommen werden oder zu Fuß gehen.Dort ist kaum was, wenn man was sehen,erleben möchte ohne Auto muss gute 10min zum Zug (circumvesuvianum) gehen, 2 Stationen weiter ist Sorrento, wunderschön. Sonst dank dem Zug, preiswert mit viel Geduld kann bis zum Neapel gefahren werden für 3,80€/Person/Fahrt, Dauer ca.1 Stunde 15min.Auf dem Weg dahin werden Herculaneum, Pompei,Vesuv befahren und so bieten sich die Möglichkeiten für Antike interessierte diese zu besuchen,Eintritt ca.11-13€/Person.Zum Vesuv muss Bus genommen werden ca. 10€/Person hin und zurück, bitte Güte Wanderschuhe einpacken, brauchen gute Kondition. Also sie brauchen keine überteuerten Touren bezahlen.Nach Caprie von Sorrento aus.

Nice B and B right on the marina

A sweet B and B, friendly staff, comfortable room. A steep walk up or as we did, 50 cent to take the lift! Rather noisy first thing as although a small Marina it is busy. Nice to relax and bathe on the jetty.

Spacious room and a wonderful sea view

The room was very spacious for the three of us and the view over the marina and the sea was stunning. There is a kitchen but you are only able to use the fridge to store drinks - strictly no food. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. The breakfast, served in the bar/cafe below, was rolls/croissants, bread, jam, cold meat, cheese, juice and coffee/tea. The owners - Toni and Anna - were very friendly and helpful and we ate in their restaurant a few times. The walk up from the marina isn't too strenuous and there is a lift which operates during daylight hours and only costs 50 cents each. There are plenty of very good restaurants to choose from in Piano di Sorrento. The only drawback is the noise from vehicles going up and down the cobbled hill during the night!

Absolut empfehlenswert für Familien!

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel ist ein Familienbetrieb mit Restaurant direkt am Yachthafen. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch das Restaurant sind absolut empfehlenswert. Kurz: Italienische Gastlichkeit, top Service.

Quiet little place

We had a very relaxing stay at the hotel. Great view from our room and lots of space in our apartment. Piano di Sorrento is a pretty little town with easy access to Sorrento. The people are welcoming and it is good value for money. It wasn't easy to find places to eat(most things were closed).

Right on the bay

This hotel is very hard to find. You drive down a winding road from the top of a cliff all the way to the bay. At first it's a little scary but then you settle in and realize just how beautiful it is. There is a lift available during certain hours. Our hotel room was the size of a small apartment, very comfortable with good wifi. But the view... the view was amazing. You look right over the bay that is surrounded by cliffs. What a great way to wake up. The host was so nice and helpful. We would love to return .

Authentic Italy family run cozy and clean hotel

We booked this hotel in an effort to find a quiet establishment close to the beach and to town, something Italian. L'Approdo certainly did the trick for us, nice sized room, comfy bed and good shower. Simple but fabulous breakfast with cold meats, cheese, croissants, fruit juice and much coffee / tea as you can drink. Right on the beach with its own good restaurant but close to a gellateria, tobacco shop (coffee/sandwiches etc), two beaches, a couple more restaurants, limoncello producer and right on the marina. A lift took you up the cliff to town a 10 minute walk away - a half hour walk and you are in the centre of Sorrento. Tonino and Anna looked after us so well and helped to make the stay very enjoyable. It's not the ritz but then it's a good Italian b&b that w would whole heartedly recommend.

Ótima localização

Este B&B situasse em local tranquilo, a poucos passos do mar. Por 80 euros o hotel providencia um excelente passeio por Capri, incluindo passagem por algumas grutas, direito a mergulho (toalhas, snorkel e máscara são oferecidos), lanche e bebidas. Passeio este que sai a alguns passos do hotel. O restaurante é bom e muito frequentado.

Interesting location close to port, ocean.

Tonino-I think was his name as he didn't introduce himself- was helpful in pointing out the local sights and in suggesting places to visit and eat. Breakfast was basic with juice, coffee, and a sweet roll and sweet bread. Location is a surprise, down 230 feet on a winding cobblestone road without sidewalks and not the easiest to get to but there is an elevator that works only 8 am to 1 pm. Unit we stayed in was clean. There''s a kitchen but it's not to be used and only beverages are allowed in the refrigerator. The owner also runs the restaurant and I think they want you to eat there instead of fixing your own food. There is some road noise from the stone street. We did not have an ocean view or balcony and didn't know if it was available. If we went again we would ask for a room with a view.

Dream come true

Tonino and his wife were so very friendly and approachable. The made sure that our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Our room had a sea side view of the harbor and was absolutely immaculate.

Good quality B&B and definitely good for your leg muscles!

This B&B is a good value place to stay. The rooms are large with all the necessary furniture (cupboards, tables and a small tv) and all have a view of the marina and so face the road which can be noisy in the morning as the marina comes to life. The owners have a small restaurant with a terrace outside which is perfect to watch the sunset. The restaurant has a good menu with fresh fish every day. Breakfast is served inside and is a basic Italian breakfast including coffee, fruit juice and a croissant. You need to be prepared to walk up some fairly steep slopes to take advantage of public transport as the B&B is at below the cliff edge of Piano. You can spend one day there if you want to stay on the beach, but there's not much more to do there.To explore the area or to get into Sorrento you will need to walk to the station which takes about 15-20 minutes including the steep walk. The trains run 2-3 times an hour and only take 5 minutes to Sorrento and for 15 euros for 3 days travel it's a real bargain. Taxis to sorrento cost about 20-25 Euros and this increases after 11pm. If you want a quiet location for your holiday but want to be able to travel in to Sorrento and explore the local area this is a good place to stay, but you have to be prepared to walk, or hire a car.
