Central Location, Eclectic

Hotel Trajan is located on the West side of the bridge while the check-in desk, dining room and parking are located on the East of the bridge. It's a ten minute walk between the two. Trajan is dated but it's clean and located in the middle of Centrum; so it's really convenient. I'd have to say the building is quaint. The doing room is eclectic because you are assigned a seat; well, I wasn't assigned a seat but was shuffled all over. The selection of breakfast food is OK... if you get there late, some of the breakfast goodies are gone and not replenished. All in all, decent value for the money.

Never going back

A very poor experience. Nothing on Hotel.com prepares you for the fact that you need to book in to another hotel's reception nor that when you try to do so the receptionist will deny knowing anything about the procedure. Nor will you know that, when you phone the hotel, they will sigh in exasperation that you cannot speak German and that they will be pretty rude to you. Add to the above that it took 45 minutes to check us in to a pre-booked reservation and the room service called at 8am and were pretty peeved when we said it was too early. Finally 'private poll's there isn't one. You are sent to a rather gloomy health spa who will, initially, deny anything about the arrangement. In our case we were eventually sent to the rather small pool only to be shooed out as it was a ladies only session. As we queued to book a spot finally gave up and went to the public pool 'Eva' which is lovely.

Kúpele Piešťany to už nie je, čo kedysi.

Ubytovanie priamo pri kolonádovom moste (pamätá už hodne toho) v krásnej polohe, blízko atrakciám a kúpeľnému ostrovu. Vila Traján už má svoje roky, čo cítiť na čistote priestorov, ale je pomerne útulná na pešej zóne (plnej Arabov a hlučných arabských detí, preháňajúcich sa celé dni na bicykloch v pešej zóne). Odporúčam zrkadlisko a bahnisko v Irma.Ubytovňa Traján nemá vlastnú recepciu a ani kaviareň ako je písané v popise. Patrí pod starý hotel Jalta - jeho niektorí zamestnanci, zvlášť niektoré panie na recepcii, sú ako fúrie, ktoré sa zabudli v dobe hlbokého socializmu = neochota, odpovede ako: „nedá sa, nemôžeme, nevieme...“ Taký personál na recepcii Jalta, čo nemá ani kúsok ochoty k plne platiacim klientom, len robí hanbu kúpeľom Piešťany. Ak vychytáte „štandard“ izbu, tak je to maličká izba so skromným výhľadom na strom. Posteľ vŕzgala, lebo na nej je priamo, dotýkajúc sa matraca, bola pripevnená nočná lampa, ktorá pri každom pohybe v noci vŕzgala. V jednom nebola žiarovka, teda nesvietilo. V izbe bol zjavne špinavý koberec a špinavé steny po predchádzajúcich hosťoch, našli sme aj prázdnu fľašu od piva a zahnívajúce odpadky. Hoci sa pani pokojská snažila a pravidelne od 7,15 h ráno upratovala, niektoré izby sú fakt nič moc. Ako bonus hluk od okolitých izieb a utárané fajčiace dôchodkyne.Na pešej zóne stretnete veľa arabských detí.na bicykli sa preháňajúcich, hoci je to pod pokutou zakázané,ale nik to nerieši. Občas do Vás strknú. Strážna služba kúpeľov to mala na háku.
