The buildings is 14th-century old, with thick walls, high ceilings and atmosphere. That is part of its charm. Nevertheless, the beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was modern, the breakfast buffet was beyond simple continental, and the staff was professional, attentive and friendly.
