"We had a wonderful stay during low season at Jey’s Place. Both Jey and Anthony were so kind and accommodating, the rooms are spotless and the garden luscious. "We arrived late at 02:00am. Guard welcomed us and took us to the room. We've got a bigger room since our was occupied. Generally, nice and clean place but far from every thing in Trincomalee. I wouldn't recommend to stay in any hotel in the city, go for the beach hotels. What you will save on hotel in the city, you will spend on Tuk-tuks there and back."

"We stayed two nights here and paid approx 20000 rupees per night via expedia. This was a very simple/budget hotel and did meet my expectations for what we paid. Missing a lot of the basic necessities including hot water, toiletries/toilet paper, no kettle in the room, no coat hangers. The location is good, walking distance to the beach and there is a nice garden outside the rooms. Breakfast was included and was decent."
