"Greeted professionally. Room was ready upon arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent served by courteous , attentive staff. Provided shuttle service to and from the airport every 15 minutes made for smooth travel transition. I highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn at Rome airport!"

"The hotel was great and the air conditioning was better than all of the other places we stayed—it seems to be a thing in Italy that they restrict the air conditioning at night and this seemed to occur at our hotel (we had it at 19 Celsius around 65 Fahrenheit and it definitely felt warmer than 70 Fahrenheit) however I am still rating it a 5 because it seems to be a country wide thing and it was the least restricted here of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip, however I do wish hotels would disclose this to their guests especially when they are tourist oriented."

"The couple different items they had in the chafing dishes were cold. Toaster took forever to heat up a piece of bread. Lots of little different choices to choose from when it came to dolce’s. But of poor quality. The coffee machine was broken so the extra one they had was very busy. Alexander the bartender was great. He can make an excellent cocktail. I feel bad for him as he was the bartender and the cook if someone ordered food. Great location but definitely not worth what they charge. "

But if you want affordable, flexible lodging with more space and amenities, it’s a strong option. The setup is mostly bungalows and mobile homes, which are surprisingly comfortable. You get basic essentials—bed, bathroom, A/C—and enough privacy to relax after long days in the city. It’s not luxury, but it’s clean and functional. Where it stands out is the facilities: * Large pool area (great in the summer) * On-site restaurant and bar * Mini market for quick essentials * Shuttle/bus access into central Rome Getting into the city takes some planning. It’s outside the center, so expect 30–45 minutes to reach major spots like Colosseum or Trevi Fountain. Public transport works fine, but it’s not as convenient as staying downtown. Downsides: * Can get crowded and noisy, especially with groups * WiFi is hit or miss * Feels more like a resort than a “Rome” experience Bottom line: Great value if you’re okay trading location for price and space. Especially good for families or longer stays. If you want to step out your door into historic Rome, look elsewhere—but if you want a budget-friendly base with amenities, it does the job well."
