"Really dig the layout of these rooms (and the property). Instead of a closet, there are under-bench cubbies, and a sort of pegboard with some pegs to hang hangars/clothing on. Makes sense — everything visible, harder to forget something when it’s time to go. Spacious room, comfy bed, great multi-port power outlets in several locations. Air conditioning was great. Really appreciated the blackout shade that you can lower behind the curtains. Decent medium-sized mini fridge (no freezer, but front desk helped us out by letting us freeze our ice packs in their freezer). Good counter space in the “kitchen” area. Our section of the property had the pool and a bocce court(!), the section near the lobby has a patio lounge with a little firepit (gas-burning). The little cafe has some good stuff (food and drink). We only tried the avocado toast and tater tots -- good and reasonable prices! The gear shop is rather cool, as well. Close to Yucca Valley, 15 min to JTree. Great spot! The ideal hotel for hikers/campers."
