"The name of this hotel is a temporary "generic" name. It is transitioning between being a Hampton Inn and a Comfort Suites, and it hasn't yet been certified as the latter. The best things about it were the friendliness of the desk clerk and the quiet and comfort of the bed. The breakfast wasn't up to snuff; like the interim status of the hotel, it was "temporary" breakfast with hot food only on weekends. The coffee was tepid to cold. The location is convenient, and the price was pretty good. It served the purpose of having somewhere to stay overnight after arriving at Pittsburgh airport."

"The parking was easy"

"We waited over 30 minutes to check in. We arrived around 9:30 pm and no one was at the desk. Other guests went looking on the other floors to see if they could find help. I tried calling the number of the hotel a dozen times, but it never rang. Finally, the clerk reappeared. The Internet and phones were down (we were told that they had been down since 3 pm) and the clerk was busy trying to solve the problem. I suggested that a note be left at the desk to inform guests. While we were waiting for service, another guest was also waiting to complain about not having any Internet. We were tired, had to leave at 4:45 am for an early flight, and were very unhappy of having to stand at the front desk for at least 30 minutes. I will not be staying at a Sonesta again if they are not even able to support their staff."

"Breakfast was NOT available before I had to leave. Otherwise is was above average, but not WOW! "

"When we got there to check in the staff at the counter didn’t give us any details about where anything was. Asked for an extra blanket got it right away while checking In got up to our room sat the folded blanket on the bed. Went to explore the PA area came back put the blanket on the bed it was covered in nasty stains called the front desk immediately after discovering it 5 mins they said turned into 30 minutes getting a new blanket and taking the old nasty one out of our room. Kids running throughout the halls screaming all night. The level of disrespect of the quests staying here and the dirtiness of the laundry and the room itself was less than ideal for a hotel rated so high. Breakfast was dry and over cooked. Worse hotel stay. Very disappointed."

"The first impression was terrible. The people seemed sketchy, and the lobby was dirty and outdated. The roof over the main entrance had a large hole in it and did not look safe at all. There were people fighting in the hallways in the middle of the night, and the walls were paper thin. I could clearly hear the family staying next door the entire time. I also overheard other guests complaining about fridges in their rooms and toilets not working, so when I got to my room I checked ours immediately. Sure enough, the tub was clogged and the water would not drain properly. The refrigerator was not working either. Although it is advertised as being close to the airport, you actually have to drive in a large loop to get there, and it ended up taking about 20 minutes. I would not stay here again."
