The ocean is flat today and the tide is out, bu I find the beach interesting in the way the black sand suddenly stops as it gets closer to the ocean. Ginger, our rescue, loves to run on the Coronado beach and enjoys digging for sand crabs. www.panamarodrunner.com

Coronado, Panama is famous for its black sand beaches and has become an expat haven in Panama. During dry season this sleepy community swells with hundreds of tourists who come from North America to escape the snow.
Coronado is a beach community about 90 to 120 minutes from Panama city that swells with local on Panmanian holidays and swells with tourists between November and April. We provide airport transport and tours from Coronado.

Everything about this place was fantastic! Chill vibe, great pool, easy 5 minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Jay was very helpful and took great care of us! Highly recommend to everyone!

It took me quite a while to find the hotel. I assumed I was lost and contacted the property asking them to send a location.
