"Just a classic resort. La Casita gives a family a wonderful apartment to enjoy it from. Every morning a shuttle (golf cart or van) will take you and your family to the resort where you walk through the beautiful lobby, then onto a funicular and then to a ferry ride to Palomino Island. "The stay was good. It is a 3-BHK condo that comfortably accommodates up to 6 people and feels very much like a homestay. The property is located in a rainforest setting, offering a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. Restaurants are about a 20–30 minute drive away, but this is not an issue if you plan to cook, as the condo has a fully equipped kitchen. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay for three days."

"The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and very nice. There are a lot of restaurants and amenities. the food is good. Iguanas is EXCELLENT. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The beach is gorgeous and the pools are great. There’s an awesome water slide. The only downside is that it is very hard to find seats at the pool. I was there at 8:30am one morning and all seats were saved. The staff did a good job of removing the towels when other guests did not show up after 30...

"Loved this resort!! The rooms are spacious, quiet and the grounds are stunning. A slice of paradise. The only small drawback is the distance from dining- and uber anywhere for a meal was $15-25 each way. The food there is OK, but we enjoy going off the resort to try new things. Don’t forget water shoes, bug spray and some aloe/sunscreen! "

"Couldn’t have been better! Ruben and Jessica were exceptional hosts - very friendly, helpful on local ideas and almost always available via phone, text or just knocking. If you’re planning a beach trip, they have things to lend out - cooler, beach towels, etc. - if they have it, you can use it. Wish we had more days as Ruben’s breakfasts are top notch.
