"What a gorgeous hotel just steps away from Playa Avellanas. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms luxurious. The pool was a welcome respite at mid day. Lola and her sister addressed all of our queries and prepared delicious typical Costa Rican breakfasts. FYI: The heights of the beds, sinks and counters were a little high for an average sized person. "

"The kitchen was poorly stocked, I.e., no decent knife, only three sets of cutlery, we booked for five guests. No toaster, we had to ask manager to chase up a cooking pot and some extra cups. No hot water in the shower "

"Staff very friendly. There is no front lobby, this is more a Boutique Hotel. But staff is present most of the day and evening if needed. Breakfast was very good. We stayed in the economy room which is on a second floor through a spiral stairway. I should have booked the larger rooms, which offer beds on the first floor and are more spacious. Pool is small but very nice. A short 3 minute walk will take you directly to the beach."
