Mount Airy Casino Resort - Adults Only 21+

"This is a very nice and well maintained Casino hotel. It is rather small and my only drawback is there is really no entertainment at all. No live music anywhere. Unless you’re gambling at night there isn’t much to do. The restaurants are excellent. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff in the restaurants are exceptional. I also notified the hotel before my stay that this was a 60th birthday surprise for my wife. I guess there was no note of this since they didn’t do anything or offer anything to me. I purchased an expensive spa package for my wife. She said the massage was great. But the hair treatment was a ripoff and waste of money. Overall I enjoyed our stay. But it is a little overpriced for what it is. As for the bar. Good luck finding it and good luck finding a wait person on the Casino floor without a crap attitude."

"The room was dirty and reeked of cigarettes, even though I had requested a non-smoking room. During our stay, no one came to even make the bed—let alone do any cleaning. The only thing that was done was the towels were replaced. The breakfasts left a lot to be desired. The scrambled eggs were made from powdered eggs—it was dreadful. There was a complete lack of vegetables and very little variety in the food selection."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful in spite of how busy it was. The Waterpark is really nice, but so crowded. Best not to go on a holiday weekend. Like the dance party in the evening and yoga in the morning. The dance party was very family friendly."
Great Wolf Lodge Pocono Mountains, PA

"We recently visited Great Wolf Lodge in the Pocono Mountains, and overall we had a wonderful experience. It was especially nice to have a warm indoor water park during the cold weather. Most importantly, my 5-year-old daughter absolutely loved it and had an amazing time, which made the trip very worthwhile for our family. The room itself was comfortable, although my wife did mention that she saw a cockroach in the bedroom. I personally didn’t see it, but it’s something the hotel should definitely pay attention to. One disappointing part of the trip was the food at one of the restaurants on the first floor. The prices were quite high but the quality was not good. The steak we ordered medium-well came out almost completely burnt and very tough, and we even found something that looked like plastic in one of the kids’ menu items. I plan to leave a separate review for that specific restaurant. Aside from that, the overall experience at Great Wolf Lodge was great and our daughter had an unforgettable time. One important tip for other visitors: do NOT buy the waterproof phone pouch sold inside the water park. I purchased one there and used it, but water still got inside and my phone ended up getting damaged. Despite those issues, we still had a really fun family trip and would consider visiting again."

"This was a last minute booking so didn’t have time to scout the place but surprisingly it was very good. The staff were corteous, breakfast was superb, overall, the place was clean. The only comment I have is that some rooms we booked didn’t have refrigerator in it."

"I had following issues with this booking.. 1. Property without power in most of the area 2. Pool closed 3. Water park closed 4. routed to different location for check-in 5. Did not inform about issues on Fri, and said we can buy water park tickets on property, and enjoy full day 6. Check-in process was total mess 7. Waited for another 90 min for room checkin 8. They gave us room, which was in use…moved to another room, which was without kitchen towel and utensils 9. No room service.. 10. Closet door broken 11. Restroom door not closing 12. It was no pet property, but there was dog barking whole night in nearby room 13. No security and no oversight on the floo My family vacation was spoiled, I am requesting a refund from Expedia"
