Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience."

"Hotel has recently reopened so there’s bound to be some snagging. No bin in room or bathroom, no towel rail, part of door jarm not painted. No staff to be seen at breakfast and went to reception to ask for eggs as none left. Staff on reception were helpful and apologised. The bedding and bathroom was clean and staff told me that the hotel has been fully refurbished. The dining room and hotel has an elegant but cosy feel."

Rooms are clean and comfortable, the bar and restaurants offer a good range of food and drink and the wife particularly enjoys taking a dip in the indoor pool. Staff are friendly and efficient. "Perfect for a stop over from the Scotland to the south coast. Great size family room with 3 proper beds (2 single and a double) great for a family. Dog friendly too!"

"The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. "
