"We were very surprised as I changed our whole Slovenia itinerary to be able to stay here based on the positive reviews. The staff here are extremely unwelcoming. We were very caught off guard with how poor the hospitality was. Lacking in even basic communication skills. We were given almost no information about the hotel or surrounding area upon check in. "The hotel was okay for a short stay, but it felt quite outdated and could use some renovations. There was no air conditioning, which made the room uncomfortable at times. The staff was generally polite, but not particularly welcoming or friendly. The breakfast was disappointing, with limited options and average quality. Overall, it was manageable for a night or two, but I would probably look at other options before staying here again."

"Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious."

Entgegen der Beschreibung ist aber das Restaurant schon seit Jahren geschlossen, Frühstück gibt es auch keins. Das war leider weder auf Expedia noch auf der Webseite zu erkennen. Dennoch netter kurzer Aufenthalt, in Laufnähe ist ein anderer Gasthof wo man Essen konnte."
